It is hard to believe 2017 is coming to an end, but we are looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings!
Scottsdale and the surrounding areas are offering plenty of options for you this New Year’s Eve, including big parties and more low-key celebrations.

For those of you with children looking for something a little earlier:
There are some great events all over the Valley catered to the younger crowd. AZ Central has put together a great list of Children’s New Year’s Eve parties.
Some highlights include events at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, the Phoenix Zoo, a New Year’s Eve bash at Main Event and more!
For those of you who want to stay home and watch it on TV:
The fun thing about living in Arizona is that you can watch the East Coast, particularly New York City, ring in the New Year a couple of hours early.
Here are a couple of New New Year’s Eve programs that are planned:
- Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – This is long-time show is back again with over five hours of programming. Mariah Carey is back and ready to re-do last year after the technical difficulties. Plus, other entertainers will be checking in from other locations.
- CNN’s New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen – Good friends Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will be teaming up for the first time for the New Year’s Eve festivities. They will be broadcasting from Times Square counting down the final moments of 2017. Programming kicks off at 8PM EST.
