– Scottsdale Events March 2023 –
We are in the height of the season and with that comes tons of fun events. We went ahead and hand-selected some things going on during March.
- Language in Times of Miscommunication at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art – March 3rd – March 3rd marks the Spring opening of this newest exhibit and this is the kick-off party. There will be food and drinks for purchase and a live DJ to celebrate.
- 65th Annual Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market – March 4th – 5th – Over 600 of the most sought-after American Indian artists will be in attendance. Not only can you shop for beautiful artwork, there will also be cultural performances and demonstrations.
- Scottsdale Parada Del Sol Rodeo – March 9th – 12th – This is the 70th anniversary of the Parada del Sol rodeo. Head over to WestWorld for four exciting, action-packed days. Enjoy bull-riding, barrel racing, roping and more!
- Cave Creek Sculpture & Wine Festival – March 10th – 12th – Stagecoach Village will be hosting this new event. Take in beautiful sculptures, interact with the artists and if you are so inclined, enjoy some wine or beer, some food and listen to live music.
- Tanya Tucker – March 17th – Country music legend Tanya Tucker will be performing her hits at the Talking Stick Resort.
- Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival – March 17th – 19th – This is the 28th annual time this event has taken place in Downtown Carefree. There will be 165 artists who create in dozens of different mediums. The highly-selective criteria to be included in this festival means there will be some incredible art.
- Chandler Ostrich Festival – March 16th – 19th – Ostriches, rides, attractions and music are just a few of the things planned for the 33rd annual Ostrich Festival at Tumbleweed Park. This year’s music acts include Train, The Commodores and Sublime.
- Spring Plant Sale at the Desert Botanical Garden – March 16th – 19th – This is the annual plant sale at the DBG. Thousands of plants, succulents, cacti, shrubs and trees will be offered and there will be horticulturists available to help you. Also, if you click on the link, there are a lot of other fun events taking place in March, including Music in the Garden, the opening of the Butterfly Exhibit and more.
- Cave Creek Rodeo Days – March 23rd – 26th – This event has been going on in excess of 45 years! Besides the high-excitement rodeo events, there will be a parade, mutton bustin’ and more. Proceeds go to local charities and to improve the town of Cave Creek.
- Spring Training – Through March 28th – Spring Training will still be going strong in March! Catch your favorite teams playing in ten locations around the Valley
- Arizona Renaissance Festival– Weekends through April 2nd– The fun is back for the 35th year this year. Cheer on jousters, catch some performances, watch artisans create, eat turkey legs and much more. This event is fun for all ages.
