– 2014 Charles Schwab Cup Championship Coming to Desert Mountain in Scottsdale this Fall –
Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona will again host the Charles Schwab Cup Championship later this year. Running from October 30th through November 2nd, the tournament will be played on the 7,019 yard Cochise golf course.
Many of golf’s top names will be in attendance and you will be sure to see some amazing play on the exciting Jack Nicklaus course. The purse for this event will be $2,500,000, with the winner receiving $440,000.
The last time it the Schwab Cup Championship was played at Desert Mountain, it was 2012 and the winner was Tom Lehman.
Overall, it is shaping up to be another great event and it will be here before you know it. Tickets are currently on sale if you want to plan ahead. The cost is $20 for a day ticket and $50 for a multi-day pass. Even better, if you want to support local or national charities when you buy your tickets, you can get them through Schwab’s Tickets for Charity. They should be opening up ticket sales via this channel soon. The event will also be televised if you are unable to get up to Desert Mountain.
