Desert Mountain is a well-known, luxury golf community located in North Scottsdale, Arizona. It is home to six Jack Nicklaus courses as well as six clubhouses offering a variety of dining options. In addition to golf, there is a tennis complex with multiple surfaces to choose from, a fitness center, pools, trails and more.

DESERT MOUNTAIN HOMES FOR SALE AND PENDING SALES AS OF AUGUST 25, 2012
Currently, there are 137 homes for sale in Desert Mountain and the average asking price is just under $2 million. The lowest priced home is listed for $419,000 and the highest priced home is listed for $9,788,000.
There are eight pending home sales as of August 25th and they range in price from $675,000 to $2,395,000.

Below are the sales figures for 2012 to date. As you can see, sales really picked up in Q2, which is something we saw all over Scottsdale and the Phoenix Valley.
Discounts off of asking price are holding relatively at the same place, but average price per square foot has been increasing as the year has progressed.
If Q3 stays on the current pace, it should come in ahead of Q1, but slightly behind Q2.
The lowest priced home sold this year in Desert Mountain was a Sonoran Cottage that was a short sale. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and was 1,836 square feet. It sold for $380,000 without a membership.
The most expensive home sold in 2012 was a four bedroom, eight bathroom home in Saguaro Forest. It had 6,470 square feet and sold for $4,800,000.
