The Town of Paradise Valley in Arizona is home to some of the most expensive and exclusive real estate in the Phoenix Valley.
It is centrally located next to Scottsdale and Phoenix and is easily accessible to and from Sky Harbor airport. Many successful business executives, celebrities, families, retirees and sports figures call Paradise Valley home.
Real estate in Paradise Valley can range from large, gated estates on the flatter areas complete with tennis courts, swimming pools and lots of green grass and landscaping up to homes perched on the hillsides with views that go on forever. Many of these mountainside homes have unbelievable views of downtown Phoenix and the city lights. Lot sizes tend to be larger, and real estate goes for a premium in Paradise Valley.
There are many excellent resorts in the town of Paradise Valley, as well as some excellent dining and shopping options, making Paradise Valley an extremely desirable place to live.
Paradise Valley Real Estate Report – Through June 2012
Below are two charts that take a look at Paradise Valley homes for sale and home sale activity.
This first chart looks at homes for sale in Paradise Valley at the end of June 2012 as well as the number of homes that were sale pending.
This second chart looks at Paradise Valley home sales for 2012 through the second quarter. As you can see, sales activity picked up quite a bit in Q2 over Q1. We also saw in increase in average sales price and average price per square foot, even though there was a very high-priced sale in Q1.
Paradise Valley is one of the most desirable areas in greater Phoenix to live and own a home. Its excellent, central location combined with the stunning homes and homesites is hard to match.
