– Scottsdale Area Events in February 2022 –
The high season is here and with that comes some of my favorite events of the year!
- Old Town Scottsdale’s Western Week – January 29th – February 6th – This weekend is the culmination of the week’s events! The Parada del Sol Parade takes place on the 5th and the Arizona Indian Festival is all weekend. Make your way to Old Town Scottsdale and enjoy!
- Renaissance Festival – Weekends – February 5th – April 3rd – The always entertaining Renaissance Festival kicks off this weekend. Spread over 50 acres you will experience its costumes, jousts, feasts, arts and crafts, knights, maidens and more! This year, there are 16 stages highlighting various performers. Huzzah!
- Waste Management Open– February 7th – February 13th – The “Greatest Show on Grass” or #ThePeoplesOpen is back! This tournament is a must-do as it is alway such a great time. 132 golfers will vie for champtionship and this year fourteen of the top twenty golfers in the world will be in attendance. The Birds Nest is also back for four nights of live performances. Enjoy!
- 11th Annual Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival – February 11th – February 13th – Peruse the works of many talented artists as you stroll along the Scottsdale Waterfront. And if you so prefer, you can enjoy a glass of wine as you do so.
- Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show – February 17th – February 27th – This well-loved show has been goign on since 1955. It started with 50 horses and is now up to 2,400 horses competing in a large number of events.
- Devour Phoenix – February 20th & February 26th – Devour Phoenix is working with a hybrid model in 2022. On February 20th, you can enjoy in-person dining at the Seven Chefs Dinner. The following week on the 26th, you can order specially prepared menus from several restaurants to enjoy Devour at Home. The deadline to order Devour at Home is February 18th.
- Spring Training – Cactus League – Scheduled to start February 26th, but may be delayed – The Cactus League is back for its 75th anniversary. Watch your favorite teams play all over the Valley. The Diamondbacks, the Giants and the Rockies are all based out of the Scottsdale stadiums and the twelve other will play at other stadiums all over the Valley.
- Old Town Farmers’ Market – Saturday mornings – *Closed February 5th for the Parada del Sol event* – With thirteen years under its belt, the Old Town Farmers’ Market features over 100 vendors selling fresh organic produce, flowers, specialty food items and more.
