– Scottsdale New Year’s Eve – Ring In 2021 –
New Year’s Eve is tomorrow and most everyone we know is ready to put 2020 to bed and start 2021.
Usually, I write a long post that has party options for adults and other options catered to the younger set. However, this year, I am going to focus on how we can watch the celebrations from home.
The 2020 Televised New Year’s Eve:
The fun thing about living in Arizona is that you can watch the East Coast, particularly New York City, ring in the New Year a couple of hours early.
Here are a few of the New Year’s Eve programs that are planned:
- NBC’s New Year’s Eve 2021 -Carson Daly will be back broadcasting from Times Square starting at 10PM. He will be joined by an impressive list of performers including Keith Urban, Ne-Yo, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and more! After a quick news break between 11 and 11:30 PM, he will be back to ring in the new year.
- Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – I remember watching Dick Clark host this for so many years and Ryan Seacrest took over the helm to keep it going. This year, Ryan will be joined by fellow hosts Ciara,Billy Porter and Lucy Hale. Jennifer Lopez is this year’s headliner and there are tons of other major acts who will be performing. Programming starts at 8 PM EST.
- CNN’s New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen – These two close friends are back for the fourth year broadcasting from Times Square starting at 8PM EST. A powerful and fun lineup of musical acts and celebrities will make appearances including John Meyer, Leslie Jordan, Aloe Blacc, Dulce Sloan, Jon Bon Jovi, the Goo Good Dolls and more.
- Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2021 – Fox is changing things up this year. Steve Harvey is going to be replaced by Joel McHale and Ken Jeong for a new kind of New Year’ show. While there will be guests and musical acts, the show will toast the best and roast the worst of 2020 and will celebrate people who made a difference. The show starts at 8 PM EST.
