It is hard to believe 2018 is coming to an end, but we are looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings!
Scottsdale and the surrounding areas are offering plenty of options for you this New Year’s Eve, including big parties and more low-key celebrations.
New Year’s Eve 2019 in Scottsdale
For those of you who like to head out for a fun evening on the town:
There is no shortage of New Year’s parties, dinners and events going on in Old Town Scottsdale, around Phoenix, and in various hotels and resorts.

For those of you who want to stay home and watch it on TV:
The fun thing about living in Arizona is that you can watch the East Coast, particularly New York City, ring in the New Year a couple of hours early.
Here are a couple of New New Year’s Eve programs that are planned:
- A Toast to 2018 on NBC – This two-hour show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will take a look back at 2018’s top moments. Celebrities such as Michael Buble and Keenan Thompson will be there to highlight their favorites. The show will run from 8 PM to 10 PM ET and will lead into the NBC’s New Year’s Eve programming.
- NBC’s New Year’s Eve – This star-studded event will be hosted by Chrissy Teigen and Carson Daly and will feature top musical talent like Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Diana Ross, John Legend and so many more. The show will kick off at 10 PM ET.
- Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – This is long-running show will be back again! Ryan Seacrest will be joined by Jenny McCarthy as they celebrate from Times Square. Top entertainers will be performing in NYC other headliners will be checking in from other locations.
- CNN’s New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen – Good friends Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are back for round two. They will be broadcasting from Times Square counting down the final moments of 2018. Programming kicks off at 8PM ET.
- Fox’s New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey – Fox will be hosting their show from Times Square and Maria Menounos will be co-hosting. Sting will be performing as well as other top acts like Florence + the Machine, Juanes and Jason Aldean. Celebrities will also be stopping by to make an appearance.
