– Scottsdale Events in April –
Scottsdale’s high season is still going strong and there are lots of great events coming up.
- Phoenix Film Festival – March 27th – April 6th – The Harkins Scottsdale 101 will host over 250 films at this year’s Phoenix Film Festival. Besides excellent films, there will be a party pavilion, panel discussions, karaoke and so much more. Here is a peek at the schedule.
- Arizona Bike Week – April 2nd – 6th -This will be the 28th year of Arizona Bike Week. Head over to WestWorld to celebrate all things bike, including bike shows, racing, nightly concerts and more.
- Roars and Pours at the Phoenix Zoo – April 3rd – Grownups will take over the zoo for this 21+ event. Explore the zoo, play games, and catch an educational session while enjoying the various food and drink options.
- Reggae Rise Up – April 4th – 6th – Tempe Beach Park will be the home to this multi-day celebration of reggae. There will be food and drink for purchase, vendors, sports, crafts and more.
- Maricopa County Fair – April 4th -6th and 10th – 13th – Ready for some rides and fun? Head over to the Arizona State Fairgrounds. Eat some tasty food, hit a few rides, check out the livestock and more.
- Mercantile Market – April 5th – This is the final outdoor Mercantile Market of the season. Located at the Scottsdale Civic Center, the market features tons of creative vendors, lots of food and drink options and activities for the whole family.
- Tour de Scottsdale -April 12th – Like cycling? Sign up for the Tour de Scottsdale. It starts and ends at WestWorld and the ride will take you through the foothills of Scottsdale. Choose between the 50km or 100km rides. And for a lucky few who want to take it to the next level, you can sign up for the Prologue that starts on the 10th and learn from and ride with world and Olympic champions.
- The Original Taste – April 12th – This will be the 52nd year of this food festival. It will take place at the Scottsdale Civic Center and feature food and drinks from Old Town Scottsdale’s top restaurants. Proceeds will benefit children’s programs around the Valley.
- Bunnanza at the Scottsdale Civic Center – April 19th – Ready for Easter? Head on over to Old Town to enjoy this Spring Festival. Besides the Easter Egg hunt, there will be vendors, activities, food and drink and more.
- Scottsdale Jazz Festival – April 26th – The Scottsdale Jazz Festival is back and better than ever at the Civic Center. Well-loved jazz stars will be performing starting a little after 3PM and will continue into the evening. Food and drink vendors will be onsite to keep you fed and hydrated.
- Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market – April 25th – 27th – Looking for vintage, unique items? Junk in the Trunk is the perfect place to hunt. With 120,000 square feet of space and more than 160 vendors, you are certain to find some “junk” you like. Live music, DJs and food and drink options will keep your spirits and energy up!
- Summer Concerts at the Railroad Park – Kicks Off April 27th– Tracks and Tunes, the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park’s free concert series, kicks off on the 27th. Sunday nights through May 25th will feature different genres of music and fun. You can pack a picnic or visit one of the food trucks.
