– Scottsdale Events June 2024 –
June is here and with it comes some new fun events and happenings all over the Valley, and state! Here are some you might want to check out:
- 602 Day at the Phoenix Zoo – June 2nd – The Phoenix Zoo is participating in 602 day for the first time. Buy zoo tickets for only $6.02! And the zoo will open at 6:02 AM! You must buy tickets in advance to take advantage of this special!
- Flashlight Nights at the Desert Botanical Garden – Saturdays June 1st – September 14th – Experience the desert and night and have some family fun at the DBG! Explore the trails, enjoy drinks and treats and perhaps interact with desert critters. For the 21+ crowd, Sonoran Sippin’ will take place on June 21st.
- Free Concerts at the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park – Sundays through June 23rd – We are down to the final concerts of the season This month will feature Mowtown & Top 40, and Elton John experience, Funk and R&B and wraps with a Glow Up party with a DJ. Each concert is free admission and there will be food trucks for anyone looking to purchase dinner or a treat.
- Old Town Farmers’ Market – Saturdays through June – Head to Old Town Scottsdale to take advantage of the last month of the Farmers’ Market. Select from fresh organic produce, baked goods, prepared foods and so much more all while supporting local businesses.
- Summer Fridays at Scottsdale Quarter – Starts June 21st – Oh to be a kid again! This kid-focused series brings the fun. There is a new theme each week from 10AM to 11AM and the first one will be Fiesta Friday. Kids can play in the fountain and there will be a DJ, treats and water toys to play with.
- Arizona Children’s Learning and Play Festival – June 29th – WestWorld is hosting this event put on by the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. Children and families will be immersed in learning, play and exploring. This event is free, but there is a $10 parking fee.
- Old Town Scottsdale June Days – June 1st through June 30th – What a great way to celebrate Scottsdale all month. Old Town has events and activities going all all through June. Some of them will be highlighted below, but be sure to check out the other offerings.
- Pick Your Own Produce at Tolmachoff Farms – Select dates in June – Ready for incredibly fresh vegetables and fruit? Head over to Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale to pick your own. Offered on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings, you will pay $3.00 per pound (with some exceptions.) And if you are not in the mood to pick your own, there is a produce stand that is open daily from 9 to 5, through mid-July.
- Go Tubing on the Salt River – Open for the season – Pass the day and stay cool while floating down the Salt River. You can now make reservations in advance and they have special themed days. On June 8th, the theme is Salt River Pirates and on June 22nd, it is Super Heroes Splashdown. They even have a bus option for BYO tubers.
