– Scottsdale Events August 2023 –
Who is ready for some cooler temperatures? Here are some things going on in and around Scottsdale in August.
- Slide the Rails – August 5th – Cool off at this all ages event at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park. From 9AM to 1PM, enjoy a variety of waterslides and obstacle courses. Admission is $10 per person over age 2 and there will be a variety of food trucks with food for purchase.
- USA Fit Games – August 5th – Fitness enthusiasts should head over to WestWorld to check out all things fitness. There will be live events, competitions and tons of vendors. There is a kids zone as well since this is a family-friendly event!
- The Tubes – August 5th – Come see The Tubes perform their greatest hits at the Talking Stick Resort.
- Dog Fun Festival – August 19th – Love your pup? This event at WestWorld is the perfect way to treat your pooch! There will be races, a dog spa, dog treats, education, agility courses and so much more. Oh – and tons of cute dogs of all sizes!
- Beetlejuice – August 22nd – 27th – Based on the movie by Tim Burton, Beetlejuice will be at ASU Gammage at the end of the month.
- Quilt Craft and Sewing Festival – August 31st – September 2nd – Are you crafty? If so, head over to WestWorld for festival celebrating all things fabric, yarn and needles. Besides lots of demos, there will be vendors from top companies with new things to explore.
- Flashlight Tours at the DBG – Saturday Evenings through September 2nd– Take advantage of the cooler evening temperatures and explore the Desert Botanical Garden at night. See nocturnal creatures and experience the desert after dark.
- Wonderspaces – All Month – If you have yet to check out Wonderspaces in the Fashion Square Mall, I highly suggest you go. New art installations are introduced throughout the year as others are retired. It is a great way to spend an hour or two.
