Here is a one-minute video overview of the Scottsdale, Arizona real estate market for the month of June.
Scottsdale Active Listings
The number of homes on the market came in at a little over 1,600. This home inventory was level with June 2018 as well as May 2019.
Median List Price for Scottsdale Homes
The median list price tells you the midpoint asking price of all homes on the market in Scottsdale. Half of the homes were priced higher and half of the homes were priced lower.
The median list price in Scottsdale in June was $900,000. This is up quite a bit from June 2018’s $859,000 and up slightly from May 2019’s $899,000.
Days on Market
The Days on Market (or DOM) metric gives you a quick view into whether homes are selling quickly or slowly. A high DOM indicates a slower market and a low DOM means homes are selling at a brisk pace.
The DOM for June 2019 was 103. This is up 12% from the same time last year.
Median Sales Price for Scottsdale Homes
This is a similar metric to the Median List Price, but here we are comparing the median sold prices of homes.
In June, the median sales price was $593,000. This is down from June 2018’s $604,000 and May 2019’s $609,000.
Number of Homes Sold
Now we will look at home sales in Scottsdale during the month of June.
There were 520 sales in June 2019. This is down 6% from June 2018.
And, if we are comparing May and June of 2019, sales were down 16% month over month.
