– Bowlero North Scottsdale – Bowling, Games, Food and Fun –
Over the holiday break, we had a chance to visit the Bowlero that opened up at Mayo Boulevard and Scottsdale Road and what a fun time we had!
We went during the afternoon, so while there were a good number of people there, we able to get a lane right away.
As you enter, there is a large arcade area to the right and the check-in area is right in front. We got our lane and our shoes and off we went to set up our scoring and start to bowl. There are 36 lanes and each lane has its own sitting area and table. Besides watching the bowling action, there are multiple screens showing various sports, movies, music videos and more.
Hungry? There are lots of options for food and drinks that can be delivered to your lane. They even have special oversized menu items like a 2 foot long Coney hot dog and an XXL pretzel for the hungrier groups. 😀
After playing a few rounds, we traded in our shoes and went to the arcade. In the arcade, you simply load up a card with credits and off you go. There are plenty of traditional video games as well as many games where you can try to earn as many tickets as you can. What I really appreciated was the prize redemption area. Instead of standing in a line and waiting around, you can insert your card into a prize vending machine and pick your prizes that way. It was convenient and a time saver!
Some other areas that we did not explore on this visit were the sports bar and lounge and the air hockey tables.
If you are interested in learning how to bowl or in joining a fun league, Bowlero offers classes and tournaments. And, they offer company and group party and children and teen birthday party options.
Bowlero is a great addition to North Scottsdale and is a fun place to visit with the kids or with friends!
