– Discover Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain Community –
Great news from Desert Mountain in North Scottsdale, Arizona. The Board and members have initiated a brand new program focused on giving you a chance to Discover Desert Mountain with a 12-month special membership for golf or clubhouse. The new initiative is to encourage people to come up and give Desert Mountain a good look.
I’ve been a member of Desert Mountain since May of 1998. We bought at Desert Mountain thinking it would be a second home, but soon realized we wanted to be full-time residents in one of the most beautiful places in the world with astounding golf.
When we first joined there were three active courses (Renegade, Cochise and Geronimo) with the Apache course just opening up for play. Since that time they have added Chiricahua and Outlaw. All of the courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus and each one has a unique layout. The Cochise course was built to host professional tournaments and has been the site of the Charles Schwab Cup up to this year.
Desert Mountain is not just golf, however. It is a thriving community for full-time residents as well as second home owners.
The Sonoran Club is the center of activity for everyone. It was totally renovated and just reopened a few months ago. This is where you will find two swimming pools (one is a lap pool), a workout facility, rooms for private physical training and classes, tennis (three different surfaces), and even a center for youngsters. In addition, there is a large private spa for members that offer massages, manicures, and hair stylists. You never have to leave property – we have it all right here.
If you enroll in the Discover Desert Mountain membership program for 12 months and then decide within 60 days to purchase the membership, many other perks will be offered to you.
