As 2016 comes to a close, I thought it might be interesting to see what kind of home a million dollars would purchase.
During the height of the market about a decade ago, your $1,000,000 would not have gone that far. However, a few years later, during the market low, that same amount could get you a home that had been priced in the multi-millions.
Now, the market has stabilized and prices have been going up over the past several years.
Here is a peek at what kind of home you can purchase for $1,000,000 at the end of 2016.
As you peruse this list of homes priced between $950,000 and $1,050,000, you will find luxury condos in the Downtown Scottsdale and Kierland areas. And, you will also find a good selection of single-family homes that tend to be in North Scottsdale or along the Shea corridor.
