– July 2016 Scottsdale Events –
Another month and a lot more events and performances are coming to Scottsdale and the Phoenix Valley.
Obviously the highlight of early July is the 4th of July. Last week, I wrote a post talking about some of the events going on in and around Scottsdale. You can see my Scottsdale 4th of July 2016 post here.
But besides the big celebrations for the 4th, there are some other things you may want to add to your calendar.
- Chicago – July 6th – The world-famous band will be playing at the Celebrity Theater on the 6th. Get transported back in time as you listen to them perform their top hits.
- School Supply and Backpack Drive with the Arizona Friends of Foster Children – July 9th, 9AM to 1PM – and July 16th, 10AM to 1PM – There will be two backpack and school supply drives going on in July to help foster children start the school year off on the right foot. The July 9th event will be at Scottsdale Promenade Office Max. The July 16th event will be held at Sam’s Club on Northsight Boulevard.
- Gatekeepers Hold ‘Em or When to Fold ‘Em Casino Night – July 9th – 7PM to 11PM – Harley Davidson is hosting this wonderful fundraiser that benefits disadvantaged youth in Arizona. Come play your favorite casino games and enjoy food, drink and entertainment.
- Winter in July at the Phoenix Zoo – July 16th – 7AM to 11AM – The annual favorite for kids and animals alike is back at the Zoo. Fifty tons of snow will be on hand for zoo guests and animals. There will be a snow slide, a DJ and much more.
- Home of Distinction Tour in DC Ranch – July 15th-31st – Fridays through Sundays – Come see this showplace home in DC Ranch. It is a Spanish Colonial home from Cantabria Homes. Proceeds from the tour benefit the St. Joseph the Worker non-profit.
- Dry Heat Classic Comedy All Stars Show – July 29th – 8PM – Jeff Foxworthy is headlining this all-star comedy show at the Celebrity Theater. Enjoy a fun-filled evening while benefitting the Hope for the Warrior.
