– Scottsdale Restaurants – TapHouse Kitchen –
We were looking for a new place to have lunch a couple of weeks back and we came upon TapHouse Kitchen, which is located in the Hilton Village Shopping Center on Scottsdale Road. It turned out to be a great pick!
The decor is open and airy with tables in the middle and some booths around the edges. Our server could not have been more friendly and she walked us through some of her favorites from the menu.
Almost everything at TapHouse, including the incredible desserts, is prepared on site and local ingredients are used whenever possible.
We started with the Stella Artois Beer Cheese Fondue. The fondue came with a little bit of paprika on top and a large loaf of garlic bread dusted in cheese for dipping. It was delicious and decadent.
For lunch, we had the Turkey Reuben and a Simple Salad. The turkey reuben came on delicious rye, with lots of turkey, swiss cheese and slaw. It, too, was excellent. 
The simple salad was just that. A simple, tasty salad with lots of fresh vegetables. It was great and a nice, light contrast to the heartier dishes we had tried.
In addition to lunch and dinner, TapHouse also serves a weekend brunch that we hear is pretty incredible as well. Creme brulee french toast anyone?
And, if you are so inclined, each of the menu items comes with a suggested pairing of both beer and wine.
Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch at TapHouse Kitchen. Everything was great from the food to the ambiance to the service. We will definitely return soon.
