Although average sales price slipped in Q2, the average price per square foot increased. We also saw the average cumulative days on market drop between Q1 and Q2. Buyers of homes also saw a slightly larger average discount off of asking price (6%) in Q2 over Q1 (4%.)
As you can see, things have really picked up in the second quarter, which is similar to what we saw in 2013. Over 83% of sales this year have been made since April first and with four more sales pending, the second quarter of 2014 should be an incredibly strong one for Desert Highlands.
