– Where to Eat in Scottsdale: Arcadia Farms Cafe and Marketplace –
Arcadia Farms Cafe has been a longtime favorite in Old Town Scottsdale. It first opened in 1990 and has been serving delicious breakfasts and lunches since then.
From the beginning, they have focused on fresh, seasonal food and delicious baked goods. The cafe is housed in a charming former home and there are plenty of options for outdoor dining on the front, side or rear patios. There is also ample private space for get togethers such as birthdays and bridal or baby showers.
I usually am at Arcadia Farms for lunch, but on this last visit, we had the chance to experience breakfast. It was a lovely morning, so we were seated on the front porch. After we ordered, our server brought over some complimentary strawberry scones to nibble on as we awaited our meals. They were delicious. For our entrees, we opted for the wild mushroom omelet with herbs and goat cheese and the mushroom, spinach and leek quiche. Both dishes were excellent.
If you visit Arcadia Farms for lunch, two dishes I have really enjoyed in the past are the strawberry chicken salad and the wild mushroom, spinach and goat cheese tart. However, it is hard to go wrong with any of the tasty choices available on the menu.
In recent years, Arcadia Farms has expanded to meet the needs of its customers and now there is an Arcadia Farms Marketplace across the street for people looking to grab and go or have a little more casual dining experience. Walking into the Marketplace, you are greeted by a large case of freshly baked items and items available to order. Around the corner is a refrigerated area where you can select a sandwich, salad or other items to go.
Arcadia Farms also offers event, delivery and catering options.
