– Scottsdale AZ Homes for Sale and Home Sales in June 2013 –
Home sales activity stayed strong for the month of June in Scottsdale, Arizona. The momentum that picked up earlier in the year continued, although things are slowing down a little bit as we head further into the summer months.

JUNE 2013 RESULTS
- Active Scottsdale Homes for Sale: The inventory of home for sale is dropping down to levels we have not seen since late last summer. Only 1,349 homes were on the market at the end of June.
- Pending Homes Sales in Scottsdale: Pending sales were down for the second month in a row to 453. This is about on par with the 12 month average of 449 sales.
- Scottsdale Homes Sold: Sales of homes in June were down 3.3% over May to 525. Monthly home sales in Scottsdale have exceeded 500 for the past four months, well ahead of the 12 month average of 435 sales per month.
The next series of statistics look at how sales activity has been changing on a month-over-month basis. Below that is a look at sales prices when compared to the asking prices of the homes. For instance, in June, buyers on average saw a discount of 3.5% off of asking price when purchasing a home.
Home sales activity in Scottsdale had another decent month in June. However, inventory is getting tighter, which could be holding back sales volume. And, we are seeing pending sales trail lower, meaning July home sales figures will be impacted.
