The Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is one of the best to Scottsdale charities around and one of my personal favorites. Southwest Wildlife’s mission is to care for and rehabilitate desert animals and creatures that have been displaced or injured. The goal of Southwest Wildlife is to get the animals healed and released back into nature. For the animals where release is not going to be feasible, a home in Southwest Wildlife’s sanctuary is available.
Currently, there are Mexican Gray Wolves, bears, lion cubs, bobcats, javelinas, coyotes and more in residence at Southwest Wildlife. You can call ahead to book a tour or take advantage of one of the events coming up below.
